A book series collection of The New York Trilogy. Three stories on the nature of identity. In the first a detective writer is drawn into a curious and baffling investigation, in the second a man is set up in an apartment to spy on someone, and the third concerns the disappearance of a man whose childhood friend is left as his literary executor.
I love the way this designer has taken then concept of using a cabinet to form the 'box' which holds the books together. The books are all made too look like files which may make you feel like a detective yourself when reading this book as you are investigating this book by reading it. I think this is a really clever idea to get noticed on a shelf, very clever idea.
